Mumbai Port Trust

Mumbai Port Trust – Mumbai Port has carved an unique niche for itself in the Indian commercial geography. The port has completed 135 years of dedicated service to the nation. For decades, Mumbai Port remained India’s premier port. Even today, with the development of other ports in the neighborhood, it caters to about 11 % of the total sea borne handled by Major Ports of the country in terms of volume. It handles about 20 % of POL traffic and 21 % of General traffic handled by  Major Ports of India. The Mumbai Port Trust, provide integrated sea-port facilities for handling, storage and delivery of cargo/container to our customers’ requirements.

Applications are invited for the following Class I post

Medical Officer
No. of Vacancies : 04 Posts (General Medicine-2,Orthopedics-1,Pathology & Bacteriology-1)
Remuneration : Gross remuneration at the minimum is about Rs.56,520 p.m. (inclusive of NPA). Other benefits include leave, leave encashment once a year, medical aid for self and family, etc. as per the Port Trust regulations.
Qualifications : MBBS degree from a recognized University. One year experience in a hospital, in the concerned faculty after completion of internship of one year.
Desirable : A post graduate medical degree from a recognized university.  Knowledge of Marathi
Age limit : 35 years
