North Central Railway - Indian Railways

North Central Railway is known as the Workhorse of Indian Railways which spreads across three divisions viz Allahabad, Jhansi and Agra, It extends from Ghaziabad (excl.) in the north to Mughalsarai (excl.) in the east on New Delhi Howarah trunk route and from Palwal (excl.) to Bina (excl.) on New Delhi Mumbai/ Chennai corridor. Rightly referred to as heartbeat of Indian Railways, North Central Railway span over parts of UP, Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh with about 3062 route km. of BG comprising predominately, double line- electrified sections defining the sides and diagonals of the Golden Quadrilateral.

Applications in the prescribed format are invited from sports persons for recruitment in Gr. C posts :

Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + GP 2400 / 2800 / 1900 / 2000 / 1800
Qualification : For the post having GP Rs. 1800 – Pass in Matric or ITI or its equivalent , For GP Rs. 1900 & 2000 – Pass in Matric with 50 % or higher education, For GP Rs. 2400 (Technical) : Pass 10 + 2 in Higher Secondary in Science i.e. Maths or Physics or equivalent , For GP Rs. 2800 : A university Degree or its equivalent
Disciplines : Badminton (M) – 02; Cricket (M) – 02; Cricket (W) – 01; Hockey (W) – 08; Football (M) – 01; Wrestling (M) – 02
Age Limit : 18 – 25 years as on 01.01.2012

Application complete in all respects should be sent in a cover addressed to Assistant Personnel Officer/IR., North Central Railway, Headquarters office, Saraswati Block, Subedarganj, Allahabad -211033 so as to reach on or before last date. Application may also be dropped in the box kept in the CPO’s Office, Saraswati Block, Headquarters office, Subedarganj, N.C. Railway, Allahabad on any working day (Monday to Friday) between 09.30 hrs to 18.00 hrs on or before 30.08.2011
