Bombay High Court invites applications for the following posts:

Job Designation: Clerk

Number of Positions: 250 (Two Hundred Fifty)

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

Educational Qualification: A candidate for being eligible ( a) must be a Graduate of any Recognized University in any faculty. Preference will, however, be given to Law Graduates. (b) must have passed Government Commercial Certificate Examination, or examination conducted by Government Board or I. T. I. for English Typing with speed of 40 w. p. m. (c) produce Computer Certificate about proficiency in operation of word processors in Windows and Linux in addition to M.S. Office, M.S. Word, Wordstar7 and Open Office Org.
Age Limit: 18-33 years

Location of Posting: Bombay

Application Fee: The fees in the sum of Rs.100/should be paid only in the form of Demand Draft issued in favour of “Registrar, High Court, Appellate Side, Bombay”, payable at par at Bombay.

How To Apply For Opening: The candidate shall submit the application online only in the prescribed format on 16th April, 2012 upto 5.30 p.m.The candidate shall send the documents viz. [i] copy of Acknowledgment Slip duly affixing photograph and putting signature by black ink, in the places provided thereto and [ii] Demand Draft, by Registered Post A.D. / Speed Post to the Registrar, [Personnel], High Court, Appellate Side, Fort, Bombay – 400 032, on or before 27th April 2012.

General Conditions: A candidate trying to meet or bring pressure on members of the
Selection Committee, Officers/ Employees working in High Court in respect of this selection process either by himself or through anybody else will be disqualified. Decision of Selection Committee in this behalf will be final. Applications which are not in the prescribed form or containing incomplete information or not fulfilling the eligibility criteria or sent by ordinary post or hand delivery will be rejected. The selection / appointments will be made strictly in the order of merit on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the screening and typing test and interview.
