Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), an organisation entrusted with the operations of the large shipping port in Navi Mumbai, India and controlled by the Central Government of India. JN Port follows the Tariff Authority of Major Port. The port lies on the mainland, opposite the city of Mumbai across the Thane Creek. The port was created to augment the shipping capacity in Mumbai and provide an alternative to merchants wanting to save octroi charges imposed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. It was also created to reduce traffic congestion in Mumbai port. JNPT also has daily ferry service to Gateway of India. Manager (Marine Engineering)
Number of Vacancies: 01 (One) Post
Pay Scale: Rs. 32900-58000
Qualification: MOT I Class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act. 1958.  4 years experience as Chief Engineer or 5 years combined experience as Chief Engineer and 2nd Engineer on board a foreign going ship. For deputation officer holding analogous post or Officer holding the post of Marine Engineer and its equivalents Marine Engg. side in the scale of pay of Rs. 29100-54500 with 4 years regular service in the grade in Govt. / PSUs / Autonomous bodies will be eligible.
Age Limit: 44 years

Deputy Chief Medical Officer (General Duty)
Number of Vacancies: 01 (One) Post
Pay Scale: Rs. 24900 – 50500
Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognised university. Nine years experience in a Hospital after completion of internship of one year.
Desirable: A post graduate medical degree/diploma from a recognised university.
Age Limit: 42 years

Deputy Manager (Marketing)
Number of Vacancies: 01 (One) Post
Pay Scale: Rs. 24900 – 50500
Qualification: Post graduate Degree in Public Relations or Marketing Management. 9 years post qualification executive experience in a large service organisation in Public Relations, publicity and promotion. Working knowledge of Hindi and Marathi.
Desirable: Exposure to computerised office environment.
Age Limit: 40 years

Assistant Manager (Marketing)
Number of Vacancies: 01 (One) Post
Pay Scale: Rs. 20600 – 46500.
Qualification: Post graduate Degree in Public Relations or Marketing Management. 5 years post qualification executive experience in a large service organisation in Public Relations, publicity and promotion. Working knowledge of Hindi and Marathi.

Assistant Manager (Management Services)

Pay Scale: Rs.20600-46500
Qualification: Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science from a recognised university/institution, OR Degree in Maths/Statistics/Operational Research/Economics with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application/Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognised university / institution OR Degree in Engineering with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application/Computer  Science/Information Technology from a recognised university/institution. 5 years experience in Programming/Electronics Data Processing/System Design & Analysis and related fields.
