Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS)

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in July, 1998. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic and physical environment, conducive to free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad,thereby opening a window to the world for the health professionals, health planners, health managers, biomedical and social scientists and educators in health sciences of the country

Applications are invited  from the eligible candidates for filling up the following vacant posts on Regular/contract basis in the University & its constituent colleges.

Radiotherapy Technician
No. of Vacancies : 5 Posts
Pay Scale : Rs 10,300-34,800 + GP 3,600/-
Qualifications : 10+2 or its equivalent from recognized Board/University/ Institution with Science. B.Sc.(Radiotherapy) from a recognized institution of Health Science.

Operation Theatre Assistant
No. of Vacancies : 13 Posts
Consolidated Pay : Rs 11,000/- p.m.
Qualifications : 10+2 or its equivalent from recognized Board/University/ Institution with Science. Diploma in Operation Theatre (OT) from a recognized institution.  Preference will be given to the candidates having +2 (Medical Stream) and B.Sc. in the relevant field.

Anesthesia Technician
No. of Vacancies : 5 Posts
Consolidated Pay : Rs 10,000/- p.m. and Rs 12,500/- p.m
Qualifications : Matric or its equivalent from recognized Board/University/ Institution with Science. Diploma in Anesthesia from a recognized institution.  Preference will be given to the candidates having +2 (Medical Stream) and B.Sc. in the relevant field.

Pharmacist
No. of Vacancies : 02 Posts
Consolidated Pay : Rs 12,500/- p.m.
Qualification: B.Pharmacy, Candidates having qualification of M.Pharmacy will be preferred.

Data Entry Operator
No. of Vacancies : 20 Posts
Consolidated pay 10,000/- p.m.
Qualifications : Graduate 2nd class in any stream with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from recognized University. Typing speed of 8000 key depressions per hour.

The Application on prescribed proforma must accompany self attested copies of certificates for proof of date of birth, marks sheet, degree, experience etc. Last date and time of receipt of application form at the office of the Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Sadiq Road, Faridkot is 18.3.2013 upto 5pm

Data Entry Operator
Number of Vacancies : 24 Post
Pay Scale: Rs.7000/- Per Month (Consolidated).
Qualification: Graduate 2nd class in any stream with post graduate diploma in computer applications from a recognized University. Must have passed Punjabi upto Matric Level.Typing Speed of 8000 Key depressions per hour.
Age Limit: 37 years .

Candidate apply in the prescribed application format along with  demand draft of Rs.500/- for General Category Candidates and Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates non-refundable in favour of The Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot payable at Faridkot. Application  must accompany self attested copies of certificates for proof of date of birth, marks sheet, degree, experience etc. should be submitted  in the office of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Sadiq Road, Faridkot on or before 22.03.2012 upto 5:00 p.m.
