Gautam Buddha University, GBU, invites applications for various Faculty positions in following areas at Gautam Buddha University in Uttar Pradesh :
i. School of Engineering : Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering
ii. School of Architecture & Built Environment : Civil Engineering
iii. School of Applied Sciences – Mathematics.
iv. School of Management – Operations, Marketing & Finance.
v. School of Biotechnology – Environmental Biotechnology.
vi. School of Information & Communication Technology
vii. Center of Buddhist Studies – Buddhist Studies

1. Assistant Professor :
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. with 60% marks or equivalent in post graduation / graduation in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. An outstanding professional, working in industry with established reputation and having made significant contribution to knowledge but not having a Ph.D. degree, could also be considered in exceptional case. Minimum 03 year Teaching/Research/Industry experience good research publications are essential.
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 with AGP of Rs. 8000/- per month.

2. Associate Professor :
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. with 60% marks or equivalent in post graduation / graduation in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. An outstanding professional, working in industry with established reputation and having made significant contribution to knowledge but not having a Ph.D. degree, could also be considered in exceptional case. Minimum 8 years Teaching/Research/Industry experience at appropriate level of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent and should also have good research publications. Experience of supervising research is desirable.
Age Limit : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with AGP of Rs. 9500/- per month.

3. Professor :
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. with 60% marks or equivalent in post graduation / graduation in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. An outstanding professional, working in industry with established reputation and having made significant contribution to knowledge but not having a Ph.D. degree, could also be considered in exceptional case. Minimum 10 years in Teaching/ Research/ Industry experience at appropriate level of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent and should have good research publications. Experience of supervising research is essential.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with AGP of Rs. 10500/- per month.
