We are looking for a well-qualified development specialist to join our international programmes team on a one year fixed-term consultancy contract

Country Programme Advisor, India - based in Bhubaneswar, Orissa / Kolkata, West Bengal

Currently 07 days per month

We are recruiting for an experienced technical support professional to provide an integrated package of project cycle management support, represent Interact Worldwide in India, contribute to business development, and provide technical assistance for our project partners in India. This post requires high competency in SRHR, HIV/AIDS, M&E, and organisation development with at least 5- 8 years mid-senior level management experience in a relevant position. Understanding of project budgets and financial reports is an added advantage. Formal educational qualification at least to degree level in a relevant subject is essential. This will be a 1 year contract with an option to extend.

Country Programme Advisor will be working very closely with our in-country Finance Technical Advisor and will be responsible to Asia Programme Manager in London.

An Indian national with good written and spoken English is essential.

We cannot cover relocation expenses.

Scale of Pay: Group ‘B’ Gazetted Pay Band-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4800/-

Eligibility Condition;
1. Officers under the Central Government:-
(a)(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department;or
(ii) With 2 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs.7450-11500/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.

Educational Qualification:
1. Degree of a recognized University or Institute or equivalent.
2. Two years experience of administration,establishment and accounts work in a Government Office or Public Body or Commercial Organization.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding fifty six years as on the closing date of the receipt of the application.
