Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC), a NAVRATNA Central Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Power, was incorporated on July 25, 1969 under the Companies Act 1956. REC a listed Public Sector Enterprise Government of India with a net worth of Rs. 11,080 Crore as on 31.03.10.  Its main objective is to finance and promote rural electrification projects all over the country.  It provides financial assistance to State Electricity Boards, State Government Departments and Rural Electric Cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.

Walk – In – Selection For Chartered Accountants

Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC) Schedule ‘A’ Navaratna Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of Ministry of Power engaged in the financing and promotion of transmission, distribution & generation projects throughout India will be
conducting Walk in Selection AT 10.00 AM on Saturday 4 December 2010 for appointment of 2 Officers (F&A) ( 1 SC &1 ST ).

Chartered Accountants

Qualification:
(i) Should have 60% marks in S.S.C.(Xth) standard
(ii) Should have 60% marks in H.S.C. (XIIth) standard
(iii) Should have 60% at B.Com.
(iv) Inter and final C.A. pass

Age: should not be more than 32 for SC/ST (as on 31.10.2010)

Emoluments: Scale of Pay of Rs. 24900-3%-50500(provisional) plus allowances as per rules of the Corporation. Candidates will be selected on the basis of average of marks in these five public examinations .A relaxation up to 5% in each public examination will be considered for candidates from S.T. category. Only those candidates who fulfill the above educational qualifications may report for walkin- selection. They will be paid IInd class return railway fare by the shortest route on production of tickets.
