Indian Ordnance Factories

The Indian Ordnance Factories Board is an industrial setup functioning under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It is engaged in production of arms, ammunition, and equipment for civilian as well as military applications. Headquartered in Kolkata, it comprises 40 factories, nine training institutes, three Regional Marketing Centres and four Regional Controller of Safety.

Applications are invited for the following posts of Semi Skilled in the pay band of Rs. 5200-20200/- and grade pay of Rs. 1800/- plus allowances to Central Government employees, from the citizens of India, who are fulfilling the requisite qualifications/specifications as mentioned below

Electrician – 4 postsFitter Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic – 5 postsFitter General – 33 postsMachinist – 58 postsMillwright (MMTM) – 10 postsMoulder / Foundryman – 25 postsTurner – 10 posts

Qualification : National Council for Vocational Training (NCTVT) Certificate in the relevant trade failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma/Certificate holder
Age limit : 18-32 years
