Junior Research Fellow

Emoluments : The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute Rules, depending upon qualifications & experience. Junior Research Fellow (Project): – Rs. 16,000/- per month + 30% HRA if Leading to Ph.D/NET/GATE/ Qualified otherwise Rs. 12,000/- per month + 30% HRA
Qualifications : M.Sc in Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biochemistry

Research Associate

Emoluments : Rs. 23,000/- per month consolidated + 30% HRA.
Qualifications : Ph.D any branch of Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biochemistry.

Senior Research Fellow
No. of Vacancies : 01 Post
Emoluments : Rs. 18,000/- per month consolidated + 30% HRA
Qualifications : M.Sc in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 2 years experience.

Lab Assistant
No. of Vacancies : 01 Post
Emoluments : Rs. 16,179/- per month fixed.
Qualifications : Graduate in Life Sciences.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed M.Sc in Biochemistry/Biophysics/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biomedical Sciences and must have obtained his/her M.Sc degree in 2011 or later., Candidates must have more than 75% marks in aggregate al through his/her academic career (from 10 + level onwards)., Must have more than 6 months of research Experience., Candidate must have basic theoretical knowledge in Biochemistry, Cell Biology and specially in cell signalling., Candidates must have hands on expertise in Laboratory works related to DNA proteins interactions, Quantitative mRNA/gene expression analysis., Candidates must have hands on experience in cell signalling.

Location of Posting: Delhi

National Institute of Immunology (NII) invites applications for the following posts:

Job Designation: Research Associate

Pay Scale: Rs.22,000/-PM

Educational Qualification: Ph. D in in any area of Genomic/Molecular Biology/Life sciences with good  academic record. Those who have submitted thesis are also eligible.

Location of Posting: Delhi

General Conditions:
1. The posts exist in sponsored projects and are purely temporary. There shall be no claim for regularisation against any core posts of the Institute.
2. The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time. The contract wherever applicable can be renewed on year to year basis within the project duration, subject to a maximum period of 7 years accumulation in one/several project.
3. Name of three references.
4. The Project Associate will be paid consolidated emoluments indicated above subject to the recommendations of the Selection Committee. No allowances, perks are payable over and above the consolidated emoluments. Rules and regulations governing the terms of appointment will be as applicable to the project staff.
5. No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.
6. The Institute reserves the right to alter the designation of the posts any time at its discretion.
7. Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e SC/ST/OBC /PH and attach documentary proof of the same.
8. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview if called for.
