Kalindi College was established in 1967 by the Delhi Administration as a constituent college of Delhi University. Initially housed in a school building in Dev Nagar. After that it shifted to its present location in East Patel Nagar in 1970. From a center of learning in some arts & science courses, it has developed through these three decades as a premier institution of higher education which can boast of a faculty of over 100 & students’ strength of 2000. Kalindi aims to nurture intellectual vigour and a sense of responsibility among students. Seminars, group discussions and lectures by eminent specialists add a new interest to subjects learnt in the classroom.

Qualification : Must have passed degree examination from a recognized University or equivalent thereto. Candidates will be required to qualify the tests such as; Shorthand test (English) @ 120 w.p.m. and typing test (English) @ 40 w.p.m. Candidates should have worked as Stenographer or Personal Assistant for a minimum period of five years

Qualification : M.Lib.Sc./M.L.I.Sc. or equivalent with 50% of marks; Or Master’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or any other discipline with 50% and B.Lib. Sc./B.L.I.Sc. with 50% marks. Computer Science paper at Graduate/PG level or 6 months computer science course from a recognized institution.

Qualification : Must be Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce or any other higher qualification with 50% marks. B.Lib./ B.L.I.Sc. with 50 % marks. Course in computer application at Graduate or PG level or 6 months Computer Course from a recognized Institution.

Junior Library & Information Assistant (JLIA)

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 +GP of Rs. 1900/-
Qualification : Must have passed Sr. Secondary or equivalent examination conducted by State Board of Education/ University/ Govt. recognized Institutions. Certificate course in Library Science/ Library & Information Science from a recognized Institution. Computer Course at Sr. Secondary Level or Basic Course in Computer Science/Word Processing from a recognized Institution.

Junior Assistant cum Typist (JACT)

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 +GP of Rs. 1900/-
Qualification : Must have passed Sr. Secondary School Certificate (+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/University/Institution with at least 50% marks or a graduate from a recognized university. Candidates who qualify the written test will be required to appear and pass a typing test in English at a minimum speed of @ 40 w.p.m. typing test in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi Typewriting through Computers

Care Taker

Qualification : 10th Standard with ITI Trade Certificate or an equivalent qualification in Electrical/Civil/Plumbing/Air-Conditioning. At least three years experience in the field, preferably in a Govt. department / organization or commercial establishment of repute.
