The 3 MMTPA Numaligarh Refinery Limited was dedicated to the nation by the erstwhile Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri A. B. Vajpayee on 9th July, 1999. NRL has been able to display creditable performance since commencement of commercial production in October, 2000. With its concern, commitment and contribution to socio-economic development of the state combined with a track record of continuous growth, NRL has been conferred the status of Mini Ratna PSU.

Applications are invited for filling up the following posts:

Legal Officer (Gr. B/C)
Salary Scale: Grade – B, Rs. 29100-54500, Grade – C, Rs. 32900-58000
Qualification : 1st Class Degree in Law from a recognized University/ Institute. – Proficiency in computer applications.
Desirable : Post Graduate qualification in Law with specialization in Commercial/ Corporate Law.
Age limit : 18-40 years

Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), a group company of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited is looking for suitable candidates with relevant qualification and experience for absorption in the following Management positions for its 3 MMTPA capacity refinery at Numaligarh in the District of Golaghat, Assam.

General Managers
Pay Scale: Rs.51, 300-Rs.73, 000
Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with First Class from a reputed University/Institute. Minimum 20 years post qualification work experience (as on 1.6.2011) in Finance Division of a Commercial establishment preferably in Petroleum Refining and Marketing sector. Candidates presently holding the position of Chief Manager/Dy.General Manager in Petroleum Sector shall get preference. Candidate should have a proven track record of managing large team of Finance Professionals with exposure in ERP environment (preferably SAP), Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Treasury operation, Direct and Indirect Tax, Pay roll administration, etc.The candidate should be able to independently head the Finance Function and should have the capacity to interact with agencies like Govt.Auditors, Statutory Auditors, Tax Authorities, Ministry Officials, Banks and Insurance Companies etc.

Deputy General Manager (Finance)
Pay Scale: Rs.51, 300-Rs.73, 000
Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant. Minimum 20 years post qualification work experience (as on 1.6.2011) in Finance Division of a Commercial establishment preferably in Petroleum Refining and Marketing sector. Candidates presently holding the position of Chief Manager/Dy.General Manager in Petroleum Sector shall get preference. Numaligarh Refinery Limited, NRL, a group company of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited is looking for suitable candidates with relevant qualification and experience for absorption in Management positions for its 3 MMTPA capacity refinery at Numaligarh in the District of Golaghat, Assam. NRL is having a picturesque township where suitable accommodation will be provided to the selected candidate, if required. The township has all basic amenities needed for day to day life. There is a Delhi Public School located inside the township which is managed by the Delhi Public School Society with provision for catering education up to Class XII. The township also has a full fledged hospital managed by the Vivekananda Kendra, a voluntary organization.
I. Graduate Engineer Trainees :
No of Post : 26 posts (Chemical-6, Mechanical-13, Electrical-3, Instrumentation-3, Metallurgical-1),
Age Limit : Maximum age is 30 years as on 01.11.2010. Relaxation as per rules.
Stipend and Salary : Stipend of Rs. 17500. After completion of training will be posted in Gr.A scale on a pay scale of Rs. 24900  to Rs. 50000 /- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Engineering Graduates having minimum 65% marks in aggregate in the discipline of Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Metallurgical Engineering.

II. Management Trainee (HR) :
No of Post : 03 posts,
Age Limit : Maximum age is 30 years as on 01.11.2010. Relaxation as per rules.
Stipend and Salary : Stipend of Rs. 17500. After completion of training will be posted in Gr.A scale on a pay scale of Rs. 24900 to Rs. 50000 /- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : First Class Engineering Graduates with 2 years full time course in MBA with specialization in Human Resource / PGDM (HR) recognized as equivalent to MBA by AICTE / AIU (Association of Indian Universities).
