Job Designation: Course Co-ordinators

Number of Positions: 06 (Six)

Pay Scale: Rs.15000/-PM

Educational Qualification: Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

Location of Posting: Kolhapur

How To Apply For Opening: The application along with the C.V.’s and attested copies of relevant documents should be sent to the Registrar, Shivaji University, Vidyanagar, Kolhapur – 416 004 so as to reach him on or before 05/07/2012.The Interviews will be conducted on 11/7/2012 at 10.00 a.m. in the University office.

Shivaji University, (Marathi: ?????? ?????????) established in 1962, is located in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. The University is named after Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, founder of the Maratha Empire. It was inaugurated on 18 November 1962 by Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the then President of India. Yashwantrao Chavan and Balasaheb Desai took the lead in establishing this University. Kolhapur, Solapur, Sangli, and Satara come under its jurisdiction with 225 affiliated colleges and recognised institutes. One of the major objectives behind foundation of this University was to cater to the regional needs of South Maharashtra.

Number of vacancies : 01 post; 1 SC
Pay Scale : Rs. 12,000/- p.m. consolidated

How to apply:
Applications are invited on plain paper along with the detailed Bio-data i.e. full name, address, date of birth, academic qualifications, experience, present position and pay, for the following teaching posts  to be filled in, in the University for the following University (Self supporting) Departments/Courses. The said appointments will be made on temporary basis for the academic year 2011-12 under section 77 of the Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994. The Applications should reach the Registrar, Shivaji University, Kolhapur on or before  22/8/2011.
