Agricultual Scientists Recruitment Board, ASRB, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals for various scientific posts under different institutes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.
I. Director :
No of Post : 04 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade pay Rs. 10000/- per month.
Age Limit : The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 14.2.2011.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Doctoral degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences including relevant basic sciences. (ii) An eminent scientist / teacher having at least 8 years experience.

II. Project Director/ Joint director :
No of Post : 03 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade pay Rs. 10000/- per month.
Age Limit : The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 14.2.2011.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Doctoral degree in any branch of Animal Breeding & Genetics / Animal Nutrition / Animal Physiology / Animal Reproduction / Livestock Production Management including relevant basic sciences. (ii) An eminent scientist / teacher having at least 8 years experience.

III. Head of the Division/ Project Coordinator :
No of Post : 32 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade pay Rs. 10000/- per month.
Age Limit : The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 14.2.2011.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Doctoral degree in Crop Physiology or Biochemistry / Microbiology / Horticulture / Botany including relevant basic sciences. (ii) An eminent scientist / teacher having at least 8 years experience.

IV. Principal Scientist :
No of Post : 27 posts,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000 Grade pay Rs. 10000/- per month.
Age Limit : The candidates must not have attained the age of 60 years as on 14.2.2011.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Doctoral degree in Agronomy including relevant basic sciences. (ii) An eminent scientist / teacher having at least 8 years experience.
