Bihar Agricultural University - Bihar Agricultural College, Sabour is one of the Six Agricultural Colleges in established during 1906 to 1910. It has been a premier institution of Agricultural Education and Research in the country. It was established on 17th August 1908 as Bengal Provincial Agricultural College, Sabour, Bhagalpur.  Bihar Agricultural College, Sabour became a Constituent College of Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa with its establishment on 3rd December 1970.

Applications are invited for the following faculty posts in BAU :

Assistant Professor cum Jr. Scientist :  37 backlog posts (SC-10, ST-26, RCF-1) in various subjectsAssistant Professor cum Jr. Scientist :  12 (UR-6, SC-2, BC-2, EBC-2) to be filled from Agriculture Inspector/ STA/ JTA & equivalent in various subjectsAssistant Professor cum Jr. Scientist :  232 current posts (UR-116, EBC-42, SC-37, ST-2, BC-28, RCF-7) in various subjects

Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 AGP Rs.6000/-

Application Fee : Rs.450/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST candidates) in the form of Bank DD payable at SBI Sabour in favour of Comptroller, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour.
