The Central University of Karnataka (CUK)

The Central University of Karnataka (CUK) has been established by an Act of the Parliament (No. 3 of 2009) at Gulbarga, Karnataka. It is one of the 16 new Central Universities established by the Government of India during the UGC XI Plan Period to address to the concerns of ‘equity and access’ and to increase the access to quality higher education by people in less educationally developed districts which have a Graduate Enrolment Ratio of less than the national average of 11%.

The Central University of Karnataka is looking for Teaching faculty with a proven track record of excellence in teaching and research and having a minimum qualification of Post-Graduation with 55% marks or equivalent grade as per UGC seven point scale plus NET/SET/SLET for engagement as Contractual faculty for teaching Commerce, Psychology, Social Work, Economics and English subjects at UG/PG Level. In case of non-availability of NET/SET/SLET qualified candidates, persons possessing Ph.D. in the relevant subject will be considered.
