The horizons of dredging activities are fast expanding worldwide, and its services are increasing in demand and put to use in the areas of Environmental Protection, Tourism, Flood Control, Irrigation, Power Generation, Port development, Mining, Reclamation, Laying of Off-shore Pipelines and so on.

Dredging Corporation of India Limited requires Officers, Petty Officers and Crew on Contract Basis :

1. Deck Officers : Dredge Master / Chief Officer / 2nd Officer
2. Engineer Officers : Chief / 2nd / 3rd / 4th Engineer Officer
3. Mechanicians – III
4. Asst. Machinists
5. Seaman Helsman (S/H/Man)
6. Engine Room Ratings
7. Crew Cook
8. Asst.manager (as O.I.C)
9. Ncv Trainees (G.P.Rating)

Age Limit : 35 years for Asst. Manager (O.I.C), 45 years for Mechanicians and Asst. Machinists, below 35 yrs for S / H / Man / ERR-I / Crew Cook Posts & 18- 25 years for GP Ratings as on 30-06-2011 (Relaxable as per rules)
