Job Vacancies of Welders, Fitters on Contract Basis in Cochin Shipyard Limited

WALK IN INTERVIEW FOR SELECTION OF
SEMI SKILLED WELDERS/STRUCTURAL FITTERS
ON CONTRACT BASIS

To meet requirements for the IAC Project, Cochin Shipyard Limited, invites applications
for appointment to the following positions on Contract Basis.

1. Semi Skilled Welder on Contract Basis: 50 posts
Qualification:
Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) in Welder and National Apprenticeship Certificate
(NAC).

2. Semi Skilled Structural Fitters on Contract Basis: 24 posts

Qualification: Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) in the trades of Sheet Metal Worker/
Fitter and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).

Age shall not exceed 30 years as on 27 Jun 2011 relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years
for OBC and 10 years for PWD.

How to Apply:

Walk in interview will be conducted from 0900 Hrs to 1500 hrs on 08th & 09th July 2011 at
Cochin Shipyard Indoor Stadium, Thevara. Candidates meeting the requirements will only be
shortlisted and they need to attend a practical test on the same day or on a later date as fixed by the
Shipyard.
