Applications are invited for filling up the following posts:-

Job Designation: Assistant Library and Information Officer

Number of Positions: 01 (One)

Scale of Pay: PB-2 of Rs.9,300-34,800/- + Grade Pay of Rs.4,600/-.

Eligibility Conditions:
Officers under the Central Government/State Governments/Union Territories / Universities etc.
(a)(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/Department;and
(ii) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Pay Band-2 of Rs.9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/Department.

Educational Qualification:
1. Master’s Degree in Library Science or Information Science or Documentation Science from a recognised University or Institute;and
2. Two years’ experience on computerisation of a Library or a Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognised University or Institute.
