Orissa Public Service Commission (OPSC)

Orissa Public Service Commission (OPSC) – The Orissa Public Service Commission was constituted on 1st April, 1949 after it’s bifurcation from the former Bihar and Orissa Joint Public Service Commission. At the time of creation of the Orissa Public Service Commission the strength of the Commission was three including Chairman . The strength increased to five in the year 1979 and further increased to six in the year 1996

Applications in the prescribed short (OMR) form are invited from candidates for recruitment to the following posts  :

Civil Judges in Odisha Judicial Service
Number of Vacancies : 55 posts (UR–27, SC-9, ST-12, SEBC-6, PH -1)
Pay Scale : Rs.27700-44770/-
Qualifications : A candidate must be a Graduate in Law of a University or Institution recognized by the Government
Age Limit : 23-35 years of age on the 1st August, 2012.

Application fee : Rs.100/- only either in shape of deposit of the amount in the Government Treasury under the Head “0051-PSC-105-State PSC  – Examination Fee” or Account Payee Bank Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of the Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commissionpayable at any Scheduled Bank at Cuttack.

How to Apply :
Candidates are required to send their applications in prescribed OMR form by registered post/ speed post/ courier service to the Special Secretary, Orissa Public Service Commission, 19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road, Cuttack-753001 on or before 31/03/2012.
