Cochin Shipyard Limited was incorporated in the year 1972 as a fully owned Government of India company. In the last three decades the company has emerged as a forerunner in the Indian Shipbuilding & Shiprepair industry. This yard can build and repair the largest vessels in India. It can build ships upto 1,10,000 DWT and repair ships upto 1,25,000 DWT. The yard has delivered two of India’s largest double hull Aframax tankers each of 95,000 DWT . CSL has secured shipbuilding orders from internationally renowned companies from Europe & Middle East and is nominated to build the country’s first indigenous Air Defense Ship.

Job Description : The Project Manager will be responsible for leading several Software projects which includes ensuring adherence to coding standards, guiding technical team in design and development tasks. Assist test team in creating test plans and testing efforts.

Desired Profile:

1. Should have at least 4 yrs of experience in Software development and programming
2. Proficiency with Java, Core Java , J2EE,Servlet, JSP, JDBC, Struts , Tiles, Validation framework, XML, XSLT, WSDL, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, SOAP/AXIS/AXIS2/ Rest. Experience in Eclipse, Net-Beans
3. Experience in Software Development Life Cycle process ( Short term Projects- at least 3 or Long term project- at least 1)
4. Good interpersonal skills
5. Team player.
6. Have a positive approach to work and to fellow team members.
7. Superior attention to detail.
8. Ability to absorb & present complex ideas quickly & accurately.
