Kolkata Police Force

The Kolkata Police Force is one of the two police forces of the Indian state of West Bengal. Kolkata Police has the task of policing the metropolitan area of Kolkata (formerly Calcutta), India, as defined under the Calcutta Police Act, 1866 and the Calcutta Suburban Police Act,1866. At present Kolkata Police has 5 divisions covering 66 Police Stations. It has a strength of approximately 26,000. There are 8 battalions of Armed Police well as specialized branches like the Detective Department, Special Branch, Reserve Force, Traffic Police, Enforcement Branch, Wireless Branch and Security Control Organization.

Qualifications :  The candidate should be meritorious sportsman subject to the provisions given below:

It was set up under an Act of the Parliament of India on March 10, 1969 with a strength of 2,800. How To Apply For Opening: Candidates who fulfill the above eligible criteria and wish to apply for the post of Constable in CISF may report at the recruitment centers for further stages of recruitment. There is no need to submit application by post. The candidate has to submit the following documents while reporting at the Recruitment Center ; Original Certificates along with Photostat copies of the Educational qualification certificate(s) in proof of age and educational qualification etc., issued by a recognized University/Board duly attested by a Gazetted Officer be enclosed. If the Educational certificates are from other than State Board/Central  Board, Photostat copy of Govt of India notification declaring that such qualification is equivalent to Matric/10th class pass for service under Central Govt. should be submitted. Indian Air Force invites applications from unmarried/married male Indian citizens
(citizens of Nepal are also eligible) for selection test in April 2012 to join as Senior Non
Commissioned Officer in Group ‘X’ (Education Instructor) trade. THE SELECTION TEST IS
NOT FOR SELECTION AS OFFICERS/ PILOTS/ NAVIGATORS.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
(a) Graduate in Arts, Commerce or Science with B Ed degree or two years’
teaching experience in a Government Recognised School/College. Candidates should
have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Graduation as well as B Ed.
OR
(b) Post-Graduate in MA English or MSc in Mathematics, Physics, Computer
Science or MCA with B Ed degree or two years’ teaching experience in a
Government recognised School/College.

DATE OF BIRTH BLOCK:
(a) For Graduate candidates – Must be born between 01 OCTOBER 1987 to
31 AUGUST 1992 (Both days inclusive).
(b) For Post-Graduate candidates – Must be born between 01 OCTOBER 1984 to
31 AUGUST 1992 (Both days inclusive).

MEDICAL STANDARDS :-
(a) Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm.
(b) Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
(c) Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
(d) Vision: Minimum Visual Standard: Unaided 6/36 and correctable to at
least 6/9 for each eye with spectacles, Dioptectric power not exceeding + 3.5 including
astigmatism. Full field of vision and Defective safe colour vision CP-II/III.
(e) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable.
(f) Hearing: Candidates should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced
whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.

Indian Air Force

The Indian Air Force (IAF; Devanagari: ?????? ???? ????, Bhartiya Vayu Sena) is the air arm  of the Indian armed forces. Its primary responsibility is to secure Indian airspace  and to conduct aerial warfare during a conflict. It was officially established on 8 October 1932 as an auxiliary air force of the Indian Empire and the prefix Royal was added in 1945 in recognition of its services during World War II. After India achieved independence from the United Kingdom in 1947, the Royal Indian Air Force served the Union of India, with the prefix being dropped when India became a republic in 1950.
