Applications are invited for filling up the following posts:-

Job Designation: Deputy Director (Mechanical)

Number of Positions: 02 (Two)

Scale of Pay: Rs.10,000-15,200/- (revised PB-3 Rs.15,600-39,100 + 6,600 Grade Pay).

Eligibility:
Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administrations or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Autonomous Organisation or Statutory Organisations:-
(a)(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department;or
(ii) with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pre-revised scale of Rs.8000-13500 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.

Educational Qualification:
(i) Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.
(ii) Five years experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity in a technical organisation/industrial concern in production of light engineering stores.OR

Desirable Qualification:
(i) Knowledge of modern production techniques like Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing,quality management systems like Total Quality Management, Environment Management Systems,Total Production Maintenance (TPM) etc.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of the applications.

Number of Positions: 1 (One)

Scale of Pay: Pay Band Rs.37,400-67,000/- (PB-4) with Grade Pay of Rs.8,900/-

Eligibility: Officers under the Central/State Governments/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous or Statutory Organizations-
(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department with at least twelve years experience in administration/finance/academic/teaching/training etc.
(ii) with two year’s service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the posts in Pay Band Rs.37,400-67,000/- (PB-4) plus Grade Pay Rs.8,700/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/Department;or
(iii) with seven years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the posts in the pay band of Rs.15,600-39,100/- (PB-3) + Grade Pay Rs.7,600/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/Department.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 55 years as on the date of vacancy.
