Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (informally Indraprastha University or simply IP) (Hindi: ???? ?????? ???? ??????????? ?????????????) is a public, professional university located in Delhi, India. Founded in 1998 it is a teaching cum-affiliating university which affiliates more than 120 colleges in Delhi-NCR and has 15 schools and centres on its campus with one constitutional college- Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (under the direct administration of the university). Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is counted amongst the pioneers of education in India.  It is the only university of India and first in Asia which has received Platinum Technology Award for quality and excellence in the field of education, in Geneva, Switzerland
