Rs. 20600-46500/- by direct recruitment. 2 posts are reserved for OBC candidates and 1 for
PWD (OA/OL). The job involves sitting, standing, bending, walking, manipulation by
fingers, seeing, reading, writing and communication and is suitable for Persons with

1. Dy.Supdt. of Police

* Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4600 or equivalent in the parent cadre/deptt.
* Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.

2. Inspector

* Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 or equivalent in the parent cadre/deptt;
* Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.

3. Sub-Inspector

* Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2800 or equivalent in the parent cadre/deptt;
* Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.

4. Asstt. Sub-Inspector

* Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of rs. 2400/- with five years of service in the grade in the State or Central Police Organization.
* Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent

5. Head Constable
Officers of the Central or State Police Organization or Investigation or
Intelligence agency holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre /department.

6. Constable

Officers of the Central or State Police Organization or Investigation or
Intelligence agency holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre /department and having experience of at least five years, preferably in the field of investigation or intelligence or computer or driving.
