Job Designation: Part-Time Teachers

Emoluments: As per the UGC norms.

Educational Qualification:
i. Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent
degree from an accredited foreign university.
ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET, however, exemption will be given to the Ph. D. holders, as per UGC norms.

15 years’ teaching or research in industry or rural technology Development, of which 5 years should be at the level of Chief Scientific Officer.An outstanding Engineer/Technocrat/ Scientist working in industry or Non Government Organisation (NGO)/ Research Laboratory with established reputation and who has made significant contribution to the field of rural industrialisation, but not having a Ph.D Degree or first class in preceding degree would also be considered in exceptional cases.

Duites: Will include managing day-to-day activities of MGIRI, dealing with various outside agencies and coordinating the work of interfaces, rural clusters and rural industries institutions.

(ii) Eight years of experience of teaching in a University / College and/ or research in University / national level institutions excluding the period spent for the research degree of M.Phil./ Ph.D.

C. Lecturer (Assistant Professor) :
No of Post : 13 posts (UR-6, OBC-4, SC-2,ST-1),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 AGP Rs. 6000/- per month.
Age Limit : As per UGC of CSIR.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
