Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU)

The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU), Amarkantak has been established by an Act of the Parliament of India. It came into existence by the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007. The jurisdiction of the University extends to the whole country and it is fully funded by the Central Government through the University Grant Commission. The university caters to the tribals’ long cherished dream of higher education.

North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) is a premier medical institute of India located in Shillong, Meghalaya.Though it was formally inaugurated on 5th March,2010 by the Honourable chairperson of the UPA,Smt Sonia Gandhi;the Institute has been functioning from its present campus at Mawdiangdiang for the last 7-8 years. Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) (formerly Arunachal University) is the premier institution for higher education in the state of Arunachal Pradesh and has completed twenty five years of its existance. Field cum Laboratory Attendant

Qualifications : H.S.L.C passed and having basic knowledge on science. Candidates have to maintain the laboratory and carry out extensive field work in Arunachal Pradesh. Candidates having experience of working in research laboratories/ academic institute is preferable.

Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS)

Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) was established on 19th November 1983, as an autonomous organisation on the pattern of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The objective was to provide super specialty medical facilities in Bihar. On 27th January 1983 Cabinet approved the completion of this massive project in 4 phases within a span of six (6) years. According to the decision of State Government, 130.20 Acres of land was transferred to IGIMS. It was proposed that the hospital will be completed by 1990 with a capacity to house 1000 beds. The estimated cost was 110 Crore rupees which was later revised to 133 crores .
