Job Designation: Part-Time Teachers

Number of Positions: 03 (Three)

Emoluments: As per the UGC norms.

Educational Qualification:
i. Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent
degree from an accredited foreign university.
ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET, however, exemption will be given to the Ph. D. holders, as per UGC norms.

Requirement of Faculty/ Lecturers
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) program study center (Code: 2213-P) at CCIT, Ludhiana is identifying new part-time/ week-end faculty members for teaching BCA and MCA classes. The person must have minimum 5-years teaching experience in recognized school/ college as Faculty Member will be given preference.
About IGNOU
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is a government university under Minister of Human Resource Management. Since its establishment in 1985, IGNOU has contributed significantly to the development of higher education in the country through the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode. The 'People's University' follows a learner-centric approach and has successfully adopted a policy of openness and flexibility in entry qualifications, time taken for completion of a programme, and place of study.
The University, at present, offers 338 programmes of study through over 3,500 courses to cumulative student strength of over 30 lakh students.
