Network Administrator
Job Location: Porvorim
Job Description: Network Administrator Job Duties:
• Establishes network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
• Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
• Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor.
• Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.
• Upgrades network by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.
• Troubleshoots problems with Windows 2003 Server networks, computer hardware, printers.
• Creating desktop and client/server database applications that run under the Windows operating system with Microsoft Access
• MS-Windows 2000/XP administration
• Configuration, setup and administration of Intranet Web Server on Windows 2003 Server.
• Configuration, Setup of Corporate Antivirus software
• Troubleshooting & Server Support Windows Server 2003/ 2008
• Remote MS-Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7 administration/ Outlook.
• MS-Exchange Server 2003/2007/2010 administration
• Monitoring of system backup, Office scan.
• Web Server administration,
• Extensive use of remote control applications, Maintain documentation and procedures adhering to strict security
• Maintain high availability of server and server resources to the end users
• Experience:
With at least 2 to 3 Years relevant commercial experience in similar position.
