Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU)

The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU), Amarkantak has been established by an Act of the Parliament of India. It came into existence by the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007. The jurisdiction of the University extends to the whole country and it is fully funded by the Central Government through the University Grant Commission. The university caters to the tribals’ long cherished dream of higher education.

Applications are invited in prescribed format along with necessary documents for the following posts

Internal Audit Officer
No. of Vacancies : One Post- on deputation
Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100 with GP Rs. 7600/- + other applicable allowances
Qualification : Officer holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 5 years regular service in the scale of (Rs. 15600 – 39100 + GP 6600) from the Central/State Government, Universities and other autonomous organizations. Drawing and Disbursing Officers belonging to the Audit & Accounts Service of other similar services

Assistant Engineer (Civil)
No. of Vacancies : 01 post (UR)
Pay Scale : Rs 9,300-34,800 + GP 4,600/-
Qualifications : B.E.(Civil) or equivalent qualification recognized by AICTE in the respective field with 3 years experience as Junior Engineer or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5 years experience as Junior Engineer
Age limit : 35 years

Lower Division Clerk
No. of Vacancies : 01 Post (SC)
Pay Scale : Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP 1,900 + other allowances
Qualifications : 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. A Typing speed of 30 w.p.m in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi.
Desirable : Working knowledge of Computer. Graduate from a recognized University
Age limit : 30 years
