Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, MCL, a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd, a Govt. of India Undertaking engaged in Coal Mining activities in Orissa state invites applications from the Indian Nationals for filling up the following vacancies under “Special Recruitment Drive for SC/ST Candidates” as well as under “General Recruitment Drive”.
 
I.  Special Drive for SC/ST :
A. Jr. Overman T&S Gr.C :
No of Post : 25 posts (SC-4, ST-21),
Age Limit : Candidates must not be below 18 years and above 30 years of age as on 12.12.2010. For SC/ST/OBC: Upper Age limit is relaxable by 05 (five) years for SC/ST candidates and 03 (three) years for OBC candidates.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10127.70 Per Month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Diploma in Mining Engineering of 03 years duration from any recognized institute. ii) Valid Overman Competency Certificate issued by Director General of Mines & Safety. iii) Valid First Aid Certificate. iv) Valid Gas Testing Certificate.
OR i) Valid Overman Competency Certificate issued by Director General of Mines & Safety. ii) Valid First Aid Certificate iii) Valid Gas Testing Certificate.

B. Mining Sirdar T&S Gr.C :
No of Post : 40 posts (SC-6, ST-34),
Age Limit : Candidates must not be below 18 years and above 30 years of age as on 12.12.2010. For SC/ST/OBC: Upper Age limit is relaxable by 05 (five) years for SC/ST candidates and 03 (three) years for OBC candidates.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10127.70 Per Month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Matriculation or equivalent examination from any recognized Board of examination. ii) Valid Certificate of Mining Sirdarsihp issued by Director General of Mines & Safety. iii) Valid First Aid Certificate. iv) Valid Gas Testing Certificate.

C. Dyeputy Surveyor T&S Gr.C :
No of Post : 07 posts (SC-1, ST-6),
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years as on 12.12.2010. Relaxation to reserved category as per Age Limit : Candidates must not be below 18 years and above 30 years of age as on 12.12.2010. For SC/ST/OBC: Upper Age limit is relaxable by 05 (five) years for SC/ST candidates and 03 (three) years for OBC candidates.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10127.70 Per Month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Matriculation or equivalent examination from any recognized Board of examination with Valid Survey Certificate of competency granted by Director General of Mines & Safety.
Age Limit : Candidates must not be below 18 years and above 30 years of age as on 12.12.2010.

II. General Recruitment :
i. Jr. Overman T&S Gr.C :
No of Post : 151 posts (UR-76, SC-24, ST-33, OBC-18),
Age Limit : Candidates must not be below 18 years and above 30 years of age as on 12.12.2010. For SC/ST/OBC: Upper Age limit is relaxable by 05 (five) years for SC/ST candidates and 03 (three) years for OBC candidates.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10127.70 Per Month.

Scale of Pay : Rs. 10127.70 Per Month.

Age Limit : Candidates must not be below 18 years and above 30 years of age as on 12.12.2010. For SC/ST/OBC: Upper Age limit is relaxable by 05 (five) years for SC/ST candidates and 03 (three) years for OBC candidates.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10127.70 Per Month.
