Allahabad UP Gramin Bank, Sponsored by Allahabad Bank came into its existence after the amalgamation of 2 RRBs viz Lucknow Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Sitapur & Triveni Kshetriya Gramin Bank ,Orai through a Gazette Notification dated 2nd March 2010 issued by Govt. of India, Ministry of Finance in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (1) of Section 23 A of the Regional Rural Bank Act, 1976 (21 of 1976) with its Head Office at Banda.

Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent ORPass with 50% marks in aggregate in higher secondary examination of 10+2+3 pattern/ XI standard of 11+3 pattern/ pre-degree or intermediate or any equivalent examination. ORDiploma in Banking recognized by State or Central Government or Union Territory. ORPass with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Matriculation / Senior School Certificate (old pattern) / or equivalent. ANDCandidates must be proficient in Computer (Know How for Hindi & English writing in Computer) ANDProficiency in local language (Hindi) as may be laid down by the Banking Service recruitment Board; andKnowledge of English language.
