Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA)

The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) was constituted in 1972 under the Marine Products Export Development Authority Act 1972 (No 13 of 1972). The role envisaged for the MPEDA under the statute is comprehensive - covering fisheries of all kinds, increasing exports, specifying standards, processing, marketing, extension, and training in various aspects of the industry.

Deputy Director (Personnel)
Number of Positions: 01 (One)
Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.6600/-
Educational Qualification: From amongst officers holding analogous post in the Central Govt./State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Bodies, possessing the Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with atleast 3 years regular service in the Pay Band, PB-3, Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.5400/- or officers with atleast 4 years regular experience in the Pay Band PB-2, 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs.4800/- or equivalent
Age Limit: Not exceeding 55 years

Chief Accounts Officer
Number of Positions: 01 (One)
Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.6600/-
Educational Qualification: From amongst officers holding analogous posts in the Central Govt./State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/Statutory  Bodies, possessing CA/ICWA qualification or M Com. of a recognized University or equivalent with 5 years regular service in  Accounting or Accounts Officers possessing a Bachelor Degree in Commerce with Accountancy and Auditing as subjects with 5 years regular service in the Pay Band, PB-2 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs.4800/- or equivalent.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 55 years

Assistant Director (Pers/Regn)
Number of Positions: 02 (Two)
Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Educational Qualification: From amongst Section Officers and Senior Accountant/officers holding analogous posts in the Central Govt./State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/ Statutory Bodies, possessing a Graduate Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with 4 years regular service in the Pay Band, PB-2, `9300-34800 plus Grade Pay `4600/- or equivalent.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years

Hindi Stenographer
Number of Positions: 01 (One)
Pay Scale: PB-1 `5200-20200 plus Grade Pay `2400/-
Educational Qualification: From amongst officers holding analogous post in the Central Govt./State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Bodies, having educational qualification of Plus Two with 80 w.p.m. speed in Hindi Shorthand and 35 w.p.m in Hindi Typewriting or Hindi Computer proficiency of 5000 k.d.p.h. with 3 years regular service in the Pay Band, PB-1 `5200-20200 plus Grade Pay  `1900/- .
Age Limit: Not exceeding 38 years

Location of Posting: Kochi
