Indian Income Tax Department

The Indian Income Tax Department is governed by the Central Board for Direct Taxes (CBDT) and is part of the Department of Revenue under the Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India. On one hand, CBDT provides essential inputs for policy and planning of direct taxes in India,at the same time it is also responsible for administration of direct tax laws through the Income Tax Department.

Income Tax Department invites applications ffrom meritorius sports persons satisfying the requirements as mentioned for appointment for the posts:

Tax Assistants
Number of Vacancies: 03 (Three) Post
Pay Scale: Rs 5200-20200
Qualification: Degree of a recognized university or equivalent (ii) Having Data Entry Speed of 8000 key depression per hour.
Age Limit: 18-27 yrs as on 31/03/2012

Notice Server
Number of Vacancies: 05 (Five) Post
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent
Age Limit: 18-27 yrs as on 31/03/2012

Multi Tasking Staff
Number of Vacancies: 15 (Fifteen) Post
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent
Age Limit: 18-25 yrs as on 31/03/2012

How To Apply :
Application must be submitted in the prescribed format  to the Commissioner of Income Tax (Hqrs-Personnel), Room No 14 Aayakar Bhawan, P-7 Chowringhee Square, Kolkata-700069, by post /by hand so as to reach the office of the Additional Commissioner of Income tax  on or before 30/04/2012 upto 6 pm .The envelop containing shall also be superscribed as follows: Application for the post of Tax Asst under Meritorious sports Quota.
