Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital – Safdarjung Hospital started as an American Army Base Hospital during the II World war. In 1947 it was made annexe to Irwin Hospital (Presently LNJP Hospital). It was taken over by the Central Government in 1954 and named as Safdarjung Hospital. Until the inception of All India Institute of Medical Science in 1956, Safdarjung Hospital was the only tertiary care hospital in South Delhi. Safadarjung Hospital has a Medical College associated with it named Vardhman Mahavir Medical College.
Applications are invited from eligible male/female candidates for filling up the post of Staff Nurse in Safdarjang Hospital & VMMC.
Staff Nurse
Number of Vacancies : 50 Post (SC – 09,ST – 03,OBC – 13,UR – 25)
Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs 9300-34800 + GP 4600 plus allowances as admissible to the Central Govt. employees from time to time.
Qualification : Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery or equivalent. Registered as Nurse; and Registered as Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Council.
Age limit : 21-35 years

Applications complete in all respects must be superscribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF STAFF NURSE” must reach to the Safdarjang Hospital not later than 09.04.2012. The applications can be either deposited in person at Dairy Section,Safdarjang Hospital or should be sent by ordinary/registered post.
