Institute for Plasma Research (IPR)

Institute for Plasma Research (IPR) is an autonomous Institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India to conduct research in the fields of plasma physics and associated technologies, with special mandates to perform various developments in the area of controlled thermonuclear fusion as a future source of energy and to develop industrially beneficial technologies using plasmas.

Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Electrical Engineering having minimum 1 year experience in design and implementation of electrical (low voltage and high voltage) systems, testing of various electrical systems and cross-integration between disciplines of related engineering fields.

Engineer (Project) (Electronics & Communication)

Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Electronics & Communication Engineering having minimum 1 year experience in the Electronics circuit designing and testing in industries. Knowledge of PXI system and Labview software is added advantage. Basic electronics knowledge is must required.

Qualification : Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering (Fresh) (First  with Post Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognized University / Technical Examination Board. Preference may be given if any additional courses done in the field of Fire Safety.

Technical Assistant (Project) (Electrical/Power Electronics/Electronics/Mechanical)

Tradesman (Project) (Electrician)

Qualification : I.T.I. (First Class) Electrician Trade preferably with two years experience in wiring of single phase and three phase systems, electrical Panel wiring, cable laying and should be familiar with various types of electrical measuring instruments. Experience in working with RF systems and HV systems will be an added advantage. Candidate should have basic knowledge of electrical machines like transformers etc.
