The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) (established in its present form: June 15, 1983) is a leading paramilitary security force in India. It was set up under an Act of the Parliament of India on March 10, 1969 with a strength of 2,800. CISF was subsequently made an armed force of the Union of India by another Act of Parliament passed on June 15, 1983. Its current strength is 1,28,000. The strength will be raised to 145,000 over the next 2-3 years. CISF is the largest industrial security force in the world
Applications are invited from Male Indian citizens for filling up following posts of Constables in CISF :
Constable/ Fire
Number of Vacancies : 693 posts in various States + 302 posts for Naxal affected/ Disturbed area in different states,
Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200/- + grade pay Rs.2000/-
Age limit : 18-23 years as on 18/07/2012.
How to apply:
Application should be sent so as to reach the concerned Zonal DIG of CISF as shown by 18.07.2012 and in case of residents of North East Region by 25.07.2012. No application will be entertained which is received after due date
