Hindustan Machine Tools (HMT) Limited was incorporated in 1953 by the Government of India as a machine tool manufacturing company. Over the years diversified into watches, tractors, printing  machinery, metal forming presses, die casting & plastic processing machinery, CNC systems & bearings. HMT is headquartered at Bengaluru ( Bangalore ). HMT Limited has 18 manufacturing units.The constituent subsidiaries are given below while the holding company retains the tractors business group

HMT Machine Tools Limited invites applications for the posts of

Company Trainee
Number of vacancies : 14 Posts, Trade-wise Posts : (Turner–5, Machinist / Machinist Grinder – 5, Fitter–2, Sheet Metal Worker–1, Pattern Maker– 1)
Qualification : NAC or ITI & NAC
Pay scale : Stipend of Rs.5800 and Rs.6000 per month during 1st & 2nd year of training respectively. On successful completion of the training period, Company Trainees will be reclassified in Wage Grade II (WG II).
Upper Age limit : 25 years (as on 01.05.2012)

Application in the prescribed format duly filled, enclosing therewith the DD and a set of attested photo copies of the relevant certificates in proof of qualification, age, experience, category etc., as listed below and affixing passport size photograph at the space provided should be sent in sealed cover superscribed „APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF COMPANY TRAINEE (Trade as the case may be)’ so as to reach the following address on or before 20.06.2012.
