The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) (Hindi: ?????? ???????????? ???????, ?????), popularly known as IIT Bombay  or IITB, is an autonomous university located in Powai, in north central Mumbai. It is the second-oldest campus of the Indian Institutes of Technology  system and the largest National Institute in the state of Maharashtra. IIT Bombay ranked as Asia’s 3rd best institute in science and technology, the world’s 36th best institute in technology, the world’s 30th best for engineering and IT and the world’s 30th best in engineering/technology by the Times Higher Education-QS World University Rankings in 2009

Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Civil Engineering of this Institute. The position is temporary initially for a period of  1 Year  and tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below:

Project Attendant (Cons)
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post
Salary : Rs 8,000/- p.m.
Responsibilities : Handling and mixing of various soils, and preparation of soil beds for further testing, which needs lot of physical effort. The candidate is expected to help the research students in their laboratory experiments
Qualification : Minimum SSLC qualified. Prior experience in research labs handling soil related material is preferable. Preference will be given to the candidate who has experience in Civil/geotechnical lab work.
