The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the Central Government of India. The first education board to be set up in India was the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education in 1921, which was under jurisdiction of Rajputana, Central India and Gwalior. In 1929 the government of India set up a joint Board named “Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Rajputana”. This included Ajmer, Merwara, Central India and Gwalior. CBSE affiliates all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, all Kendriya Vidyalayas, private schools, all the schools in the NCT of Delhi and Foreign Schools

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200- 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-
Placement : Hqrs. Delhi/Any of the Regional Offices of the Board in the country

Eligible candidates are requested to apply ON-LINE only through Board’s website www.cbse.nic.in. No other means / photocopy of the application form given in the website/ mode of Application will be accepted. Closing Date for on-line registration in Website 27.03.2012. Hard copy of the application form alongwith requisite fee and other required documents as mentioned in Annexure –I should reach the Board office by 15.04.2012.
