The Staff Selection Commission (SSC)

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training and comprises of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations who are appointed on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the Central Government from time to time. The Commission is provided such supporting staff as considered necessary by the Central Government

Applications are invited from Citizens of India for the following posts :

DATA PROCESSING ASSISTANT GRADE ‘A’
Number of Vacancy : 01 (UR-01)
Department : Directorate General of Mines Safety, M/o Labour & Employment, Dhanbad
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800/-, Grade Pay Rs. 4200 /-, (PB-2)
Qualification : Bachelor?s Degree in Physics/Mathematics/Statistics/ Operational Research/Computer Science of a recognised University or equivalent. Post-graduate Diploma/Certificate in computer application (of at least one year?s duration) of a recognised University or equivalent OR Two years experience in the field of computer application

JUNIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT
Number of Vacancy : 01 (UR-01)
Department : O/o the Regional Director (ER), Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Kolkata
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300–34800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4200, (PB-2)
Qualification : M.Com. or degree in Commerce/Economics with degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent.

PRESERVATION ASSISTANT, GRADE-I
Number of Vacancy : 01 (OBC-01)
Department : Botanical Survey of India, Industrial Section Indian Museum, Kolkata
Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200/-, Grade Pay Rs. 2800 /-, (PB-1)
Qualification : B. Sc. with Botany as one of the subjects of a recognised University
Age limit : Below 26 years (Age relaxation is admissible as per Instructions).

JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL)

Department : Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships, Ministry of Shipping
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800/-, Grade Pay Rs. 4200 /-, (PB-2)
Qualification : Degree in Civil Engineering; or Diploma in Civil Engineering with three years of experience; or Equivalent qualification

SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT- I

SENIOR SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT – III
