West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has come into effect from 01.04.2007 after restructuring of erstwhile West Bengal State Electricity Board in compliance of Electricity Act 2003.WBSEDCL is a major power utility of the state with consumer strength over 74 lakhs. 5 zones, 17 circles, 52 distribution divisions and 478 electric supply offices make up the backbone to the power distribution system of the state

The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL), invites applications from Indian Nationals to fill up the following vacant posts.

Jr. Executive (Finance)
Number of Vacancies : 10 Post
Pay Scale : Rs 9,300-38,800/- + GP 4,700/-
Qualification : Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university plus Inter CA / ICWA.
Age limit : 27 years

Linesman
Number of Vacancies : 538 Post
Pay Scale : Rs 6,300-20,200/- + GP 2,600/-
Qualification : Madhyamik or equivalent plus Trade Certificate under NCTVT from any Govt. ITI under Director of Industrial Training, Govt. of West Bengal in the trade (2 years’ duration): Wireman or Electrician and Workmen’s Permit in Part-IV.
Age limit : 27 years
