National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT)

In 1961, the Government of India established the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) as an autonomous organization to assist and advise the governments at the Centre and in States in the implementation of their policies for education, especially to bring about qualitative changes in school education and teacher preparation. Over the years, the Council has evolved into a unique organization, with its increasing range of activities that has influenced school education in India.

The Department of Women’s Studies, NCERT, New Delhi invites applications to recruit One Computer typist on temporary basis to work on the project mentioned above. The terms and conditions of the computer typist are as below:

Computer Typist

Salary : Rs.8,814/- (Consolidated for under Graduate); Rs.9,594/- (Consolidated for Graduate)
Qualifications : Senior Secondary Pass. One Year Computer Course from some Recognized Institution. Knowledge of MS-Office, Internet, E-mail etc. Knowledge of Computer Typing in English & Hindi
Desirable : Graduate from any recognized University or equivalent.  One years experience of working as Computer typist (Bilingual) in some National Project or Institution
Age limit : 27 years as on 01.01.2013

Qualification: Holding analogous post in State Govt./Board/Corporation/ Autonomous Body/PSUs etc. Or 10 years service in common clerical cadres of Clerks/Jr. Assistants in the pay band of Rs. 5910-20200 plus grade pay of Rs. 1900/2800 and proficiency of working on computer.

Driver (Contract basis)
Number of Vacancies: 02 (Two) Post
Pay Scale: Rs. 5910-20200 + GP Rs. 2000/-
Qualification: The applicant should be a Matriculate from recognized Board/Institution and possess valid driving license for plying of heavy/light vehicles in Hilly Terrain having a minimum experience of five years of working in Govt./PSUs/Company etc. Salary/emoluments for Contract appointee would be payable as per Govt. of H.P. norm. The driver will also be expected to multi-task assistance in the office as assigned from time to time.
Desirable: 12th pass, computer proficient.

2) Applications complete in all respects along with enclosures and registration fee of  Rs.75/- each (Rs.37.50 for reserved posts) for posts mentioned under  sections (A) above and  Rs.30/- each (Rs.15/- for reserved posts) for those under sections (B) above must reach the Registrar of the Institute latest by  05.02.2011 (Saturday).  Separate application shall be submitted for each post.
3) All payments must be made either in cash at the Institute counter or by bank draft in favour of  DAYALBAGH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE payable at Agra.
4) For the post of Associate Professors, applicants are required (as per UGC Regulations, 2010) to send four copies each of their three major publications of which one could be a book or research report , for the assessment by the expert members and for the consideration of the Screening/Selection Committees together.
5) NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment ofAssistant Professor in the Institute. Provided however, that candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedurefor award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor orequivalent positions in the Institute”.
6) (a) A relaxation of 5% of marks (from 55% to 50%) may be provided at the Graduation level for theSC/ST/Physically and visually handicapped persons, in appointment as Assistant Professor s.
(b) A relaxation of 5% of marks (from 55% to 50%) may be provided to the Ph.D. degree holders who have passed  their Master’s Degree prior to 19th September, 1991, and also to such candidates who have cleared the JRF  Examination conducted by UGC/CSIR only prior to 1989 when the minimum marks required to appear for JRF examination were 50%.
7) Candidates are called for interview on the recommendations of the Screening Committee of the  Institute and as such all applicants may not be called for interview.   No TA and DA shall be admissible for attending the interview.

III. Headmaster :

Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 – 39100 with Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Master?s Degree from recognized University with atleast 50% marks in aggregate. ii) B.Ed. or equivalent teaching degree.
Age limit : Between 35 to 50 years relaxable upto five years in the case of Councils employees.

IV. Headmistresss (Nursery) :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 – 34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i. A Graduate Degree with second class (50% marks) and training in Early Childhood Education Certificate, Diploma, Degree with second class (50% marks)
ii. A minimum of Five years experience in working with pre-school children.
Desirable: Certificate/Degree in Music, Dance or Art.
Age limit : 30 years relaxable upto five years in the case of Councils employees.

V. PGT Chemistry :
No of Post : 01 post,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 – 34800 grade pay Rs. 4800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Two years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; OR Masters Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in Chemistry/Bio Chemistry.ii) B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from recognized University. iii) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
Age limit : 40 years relaxable upto five years in the case of Councils employees.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application.

VI. Nursery School Teacher :

Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 – 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Nursery Teacher Training Certificate from a recognized institution or equivalent.
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi; and Experience as Nursery Teacher.
