Jharkhand State Electricity Board, JSEB, Applications are invited from eligible candidates in prescribed Proforma for appointment on following temporary post in Jharkhand State Electricity Board :
I. Assistant Electrical Engineer (General Cadre) :
No of Post : 30 posts (UR-15, EBC-2, BC-2, SC-3, ST-8),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 5500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have Electrical/ Electronics Engineering degree from any Govt. recognised institution or its equivalent with minimum 60% percentage of marks in Engineering degree.

II. Assistant Executive Engineer (GTO Cadre) :
No of Post : 20 posts (UR-10, EBC-2, BC-1, SC-2, ST-5),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 5500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have Electrical/ Electronics / Mechanical Engineering degree from any Govt. recognised institution or its equivalent with minimum 60% percentage of marks in Engineering degree.

III. Junior Electrical Engineer (General Cadre) :
No of Post : 70 posts (UR-35, EBC-6, BC-4,SC-7, ST-18),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have Electrical/ Electronics Engineering degree from any Govt. recognised institution or its equivalent with minimum 60% percentage of marks in Engineering degree.

IV. Junior Electrical Engineer (GTO Cadre) :
No of Post : 30 posts (UR-15, EBC-2, BC-2,SC-3, ST-8),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have Electrical/ Electronics Engineering degree from any Govt. recognised institution or its equivalent with minimum 60% percentage of marks in Engineering degree.

V. Assistant Engineer (Civil) :
No of Post : 08 posts (UR-4, EBC-1, SC-1, ST-2),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 5500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have Electrical/ Electronics Engineering degree from any Govt. recognised institution or its equivalent with minimum 60% percentage of marks in Engineering degree.

VI. Junior Engineer (Civil) :
No of Post : 20 posts (UR-10, EBC-2, BC-1,SC-2, ST-5),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have Three years Civil Engineering Diploma from any Government recognised institution or its equivalent with minimum 60% percentage of marks in engineering diploma.

VII. Assistant Engineer (IT) :
No of Post : 10 posts (UR-5, EBC-1, SC-1, ST-3),
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 5500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have degree in B.E / B.Tech./ B.Sc. Engineering in Computer Science/ B.Tech in I.T from any Govt. recognized university or its equivalent with minimum 60% percentage of marks in engineering Degree.

Age Limit For All :
1. The minimum age for all the above posts is 21 years.
2. The upper Age as on 31.12.2010 is : General Category: 35 years, SC&ST:40 years and BC&EBC: 37 years.
3. The upper age limit for departmental candidates of JSEB is 50 years.

Take at print out of the submitted application and  print out of the application along with copies of certificates should be sent through registered post / speed post to : The principal Director (CP), National Power Training Institute, NPTI Complex, Sector-33, Faridabad – 121003 (Haryana) so as to reach on or before the last date i.e. 20.01.2011.

Fees : Rs. 750/- except for SC/ST of Jharkhand domicile for whom it is Rs.National Power Training Institute” Payable at Faridabad.

A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 750/- is applicable for all
categories except SC/ST of Jharkhand domicile for whom it is Rs.
500/- .
Application fees are acceptable only in the form of crossed demand
draft in favour of “National Power Training Institute” Payable at
Faridabad.

The applicants are to apply only through on-line on the website of
NPTI at www.npti.in or on the website of JSEB at
www.Jharkhand.gov.in The website shall be kept open from
15.12.2010 to 10.01.2011. After filling up the ON-LINE application
candidates have to take print out of the same. Print out of the
application along with copies of certificates of Age, Qualification,
Caste, PH and the Demand draft as specified on website should be
sent through registered post/ speed post to: The principal Director
(CP), National Power Training Institute, NPTI Complex, Sector-33,
Faridabad – 121003 (Haryana) so as to reach on or before the last
date i.e. 20/01/2011.
