Dayalbagh Educational Institute Hires Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor Posts in 2010, Agra

The Dayalbagh Educational Institute is a Deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants  Commission Act, 1956 as per Notification No. F.9-3/78-U-3 dated 16.5.81 issued by the then Ministry of  Education & Culture, Government of India.

Applications in the prescribed form are invited for the following posts.  The preferred
areas  of  specialisations are indicated in Italics (Numbers suffixing the posts in bracket show the number of post/s).

Qualification For All:
Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering, & Technology , and experience of ten years in teaching, research and / or industry

Note:
1) Prescribed application forms and particulars of pay scales, qualifications, experience etc. can be  obtained from  the office of the REGISTRAR of the Institute on payment of  Rs.50/- each (Rs.25/- for reserved posts) for the posts mentioned under  sections (A) above and  Rs.30/- each (Rs.15/- for reserved posts) for those under  sections (B)above, at the Institute counter or by post by sending a self addres sed and stamped envelope of size 22×10 cms. with postal stamps of  Rs.10/- for ordinary post or  Rs.27/- for Registered post.  However, the qualifications for the internal candidates  of this Institute may vary and these are notified internally.
2) Applications complete in all respects along with enclosures and registration fee of  Rs.75/- each (Rs.37.50 for reserved posts) for posts mentioned under  sections (A) above and  Rs.30/- each (Rs.15/- for reserved posts) for those under sections (B) above must reach the Registrar of the Institute latest by  05.02.2011 (Saturday).  Separate application shall be submitted for each post.
3) All payments must be made either in cash at the Institute counter or by bank draft in favour of  DAYALBAGH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE payable at Agra.
4) For the post of Associate Professors, applicants are required (as per UGC Regulations, 2010) to send four copies each of their three major publications of which one could be a book or research report , for the assessment by the expert members and for the consideration of the Screening/Selection Committees together.
5) NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment ofAssistant Professor in the Institute. Provided however, that candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedurefor award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor orequivalent positions in the Institute”.
6) (a) A relaxation of 5% of marks (from 55% to 50%) may be provided at the Graduation level for theSC/ST/Physically and visually handicapped persons, in appointment as Assistant Professor s.
(b) A relaxation of 5% of marks (from 55% to 50%) may be provided to the Ph.D. degree holders who have passed  their Master’s Degree prior to 19th September, 1991, and also to such candidates who have cleared the JRF  Examination conducted by UGC/CSIR only prior to 1989 when the minimum marks required to appear for JRF examination were 50%.
7) Candidates are called for interview on the recommendations of the Screening Committee of the  Institute and as such all applicants may not be called for interview.   No TA and DA shall be admissible for attending the interview.
