Indian Institute of Technology, IIT, Indore invites applications from outstanding, highly- motivated Indian nationals (and those of Indian origin) for faculty positions at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in the School of Engineering, School of Sciences, and School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
1. Assistant Professor :
No of Post : 01 post,
Age Limit : As per UGC norms.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record and at least three years post-PhD industrial / research / teaching experience. Candidates not satisfying the experience requirement for direct recruitment as Assistant Professor may be considered for tenure track position as Assistant Professor (on-contract).
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 8000/- per month.

2. Associate Professor :
No of Post : 01 post,
Age Limit : Asper UGC norms.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D degree with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of six years teaching / industry / research experience, of which at least three years experience, should be at the level of Assistant Professor / Senior Scientific Officer / Senior Design Engineer.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9500/- per month.

3. Professor :
No of Post : 01 post,
Age Limit : Asper UGC norms.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D degree with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of ten years experience, of which at least four years should be at the level of Associate Professor in any of the following: an IIT, IlSc Bangalore, an IIM, NlTlE Mumbai or an IISER, or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or Foreign Institutions of comparable standards as may be so decided by IIT Indore.
Scale of Pay : PB-4 Rs. 37400 to 67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10500/- per month.
