Heavy Water Board (HWB)

Heavy Water Board (HWB), a constituent unit under Department of Atomic Energy, is primarily responsible for production of Heavy Water (D2O)  which is used as a ‘moderator’  and ‘Coolant’  in the nuclear power as well as research reactors. HWB is successfully operating six Heavy Water Plants in the country.

Applications are invited for the following posts:

Category-I Trainees : 37 posts (Chemical-18, Mechanical-6, Electrical-4, Instrumentation-2, Chemistry (Laboratory)-7), Stipend : Rs. 9300/- p.m. (consolidated) plus Book Allowance of Rs. 1500/- as one time grant, will be posted as Scientific Assistant/B – in Pay Band of Rs. 9300-34800 and Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 (PB-2), Age : 18-25 yearsCategory-II Trainees : 31 posts (Mechanical (Fitter) -5, Mechanical (Turner) -2, Electrical-1, Instrument - Mechanic-1, Cane Operator-3, Lab Technician-2, Process/ Plant Operator - 17) , Stipend :  Rs. 6200/- p.m. (consolidated and no allowances are admissible) plus Book Allowance of Rs. 1500/- as one time grant, will be posted as Technician/B - in Pay Band of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2000 (PB-1) or as Technician/C - in Pay Band of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2400 (PB-1)., Age : 18-22 yearsStation Officer / A : 02 posts, Age : 18-40 years, Pay Scale : Pay Band of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800 (PB-2).
