Advertisement for Faculty Recruitment
IIT Indore invites applications from outstanding, highly- motivated Indian nationals (and those of Indian origin) for faculty positions at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in the School of Engineering, School of Sciences, and School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Qualification : Ph.D. with First class or equivalent (in terms of Grades etc.) at the preceeding degree in the appropriate branch, where relevant, and with a very good academic record throughout with 10 years, 6 years and 3 years experience for Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor respectively.
Pay Scales :
1. Assistant Professor: Minimum pay of Rs 30,000/- in Pay Band-3 (Rs 15,600-39,100) with AGP Rs. 8,000/-. On completion of 3 years service as Assistant Professor, he / she shall move to Pay Band-4 (Rs 37400-67000) with AGP of Rs 9,000/-.
2. Assistant Professor (On-Contract): Pay Band-3 (Rs 15,600-39,100) with seven non-compounded advance increments (minimum starting pay of Rs 20,140/-) with AGP Rs 6,000/- . After 1 year he / she will move to AGP of Rs 7,000/- in Pay Band-3.
3. Associate Professor: To be appointed in Pay Band-4 (Rs 37,400 – 67,000) with AGP of Rs 9,500/- p.m. For direct recruits, minimum pay in the Pay Band-4 will be fixed at Rs 42,800/- p.m.
4. Professor: To be appointed in Pay Band-4 (Rs 37,400-67,000) with AGP of Rs10,500/- p.m. For direct recruits, minimum pay in the Pay Band will be fixed at Rs 48,000/- p.m.
