Vaccine and Infectious Disease Research Center, VIDRC, TRANSLATIONAL HEALTH SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE, (An Autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India) 496, Udyog Vihar Phase III, Gurgaon – 122016.

Vaccine and Infectious Disease Research Center, VIDRC, has been set up as a mission center of the THSTI to study infectious disease and pathogens with the aim to generate translational knowledge for developing prophylactic and therapeutic measures against diseases prevalent in India. Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the following positions:

1. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate with Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management or MBA from a recognized Institute/ University or passed UPSC examination of Section Officers, with five years experience in the pre-revised grade of Rs. 8,000-13500 or Rs. 7450-11500 with seven years experience or 6500-10500 with eight years experience in an equivalent position in administration, establishment/ accounts / store, purchase in a Govt. organisation in a Public body or an organization of repute.
DESIRABLE: Knowledge of Government Rules & Regulations, Computer Application/Management Information System.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 40 years.

2. STORES PURCHASE OFFICER :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate preferably with PG Diploma in Materials Management or passed UPSC examination of Section Officers with five years experience in the pre-revised grade of Rs. 8,000-13500 or Rs. 7450-11500 with seven years experience or 6500-10500 with eight years experience in an equivalent position of Stores purchase, keeping accounts in Stores work in a Govt. organisation in a Public body or an organization of repute.
DESIRABLE: Knowledge of Govt. Rules & Regulations, Computer Application/ Management Information System.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 40 years.

3. FINANCE & ACCOUNTS OFFICER :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate with SAS/CA/ICWA and Minimum 5/7 years experience as Pay & Accounts Officer/Accounts Officer/Head of Finance & Accounts Division. DESIRABLE: Knowledge of Govt. Rules & Regulations and Computer Applications.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 40 years.

4. ASSISTANT VACCINE TECHNOLOGIST :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. with three years experience working in a cGMP or cGLP set up for vaccine production or clinical development, or five years research experience working in areas related to vaccine development.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 35 years.

5. VACCINE TECHNOLOGIST :
No of Post : 04 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. with five years experience working in a cGMP or cGLP set up for vaccine production or clinical development, or PhD in biological sciences with preferred area being related to vaccine development.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 40 years.

6. SENIOR VACCINE TECHNOLOGIST :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. with seven years experience working in a cGMP or cGLP set up for vaccine production or clinical development, or PhD in biological sciences with preferred area being related to vaccine development.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 7600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 50 years.

7. RESEARCH SCIENTIST – C :
No of Post : 03 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. with one year of relevant post-doctoral training with high quality published work.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 40 years.

8. RESEARCH SCIENTIST – D :
No of Post : 03 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. with three years of relevant post-doctoral training with high quality published work.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 7600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 50 years.

9. RESEARCH SCIENTIST – E :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. with ten years of relevant post-doctoral training with high quality published work.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/- per month.
Age Limit : Not to exceed 50 years.
