Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC)

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) came into existence on 1 st November, 1956 with the formation of the State of Andhra Pradesh . Before this, there was Andhra Public Service Commission in the Andhra State and Hyderabad Public Service Commission in the Hyderabad State . Andhra Service Commission came into existence only in 1953 after the bifurcation of composite Madras State into Andhra and Madras States.

Qualifications : Must be a graduate of any University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act, or a Provincial Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission with teachers training certificate
Age limit : 18-36 years

Qualifications : Must have passed Secondary School Certificate Examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad OR its equivalent examination as prescribed from time to time in sub-rule (2) of Rule 12 of Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996. Must have obtained National Council of Vocational Training Certificate in Draughtsman (Civil) Trade (Two years Course with Surveying as one of the subject) in any Industrial Training Institute recognized by the Government of India. OR ITI (Civil Draughtsman)
Age limit : 18-38 years
